In general, the immune system is subject to the perpetual cycles of change within the body. It is a system of balance, of dynamic equilibrium, INTIMATELY connected to the nerve system.
Evidence suggests that immune cells themselves send messages to the brain. Nerve cells and immune cells seem to engage in two-way conversations. Some immune cells have receptors on their membranes for neuropeptides which are chemicals produced by the brain. That is why it is good to have a spine well adjusted at all times.
For the most part, these systems work with the body’s other cells and tissues, maintaining stability and balance within, preserving our most precious possession: OUR HEALTH!
Amazing isn’t it?
