TRANSMISSION?

Transmission (trans-mish’ en):

1.  A sending over; passing on; passing along; letting through.

2. Something transmitted.

3a.  Part of an automobile that transmit power from the engine to the rear axle or sometimes front axle.

3b. Set of gears that determine the relative speed.

4.  Passage through space of electromagnetic waves from a transmitting station to a receiving station or stations.
