Why efferent and afferent are so important/ (3)

Let me put it this way.

Without efferent transmission, you would not have been able to lift your leg in the first place.

Without afferent transmission, your brain would not have received messages that the water was too hot, therefore would not have sent the messages to remove your leg from the hot water.

The result would have been burnt skin.  Ouch!

AMAZING ISN’T IT?
