Going South and observing? (3)

Of course to find out that homing pigeons possess magnetic compasses within themselves, that salmon “smell their way home” a navigation cue to get home and that some butterflies can use the sun and might even hear distinctive sounds of atmospheric pressure to find out where to go, seems to be very stimulating and aesthetically irresistible.

However, we should realize that whatever controls our universe is highly organized and controls us also, since we are a part of our universe.

Doesn’t it make you wonder about yourself in the presence of such wisdom and power?

  1. I never knew that about butterflies! Fascinating stuff! And yes, it really does make me wonder…. Innate intelligence, right?! 😉
